Mad for macrame

Another wonderful workshop, another roaring success!

This past weekend some of us huddled in store on an Autumnal afternoon to get to grips with macrame, under the careful instruction of Botanica Home.

Macrame is such a beautiful and therapeutic art form that can be used to create wall hangings, plant hangers, clothing, accessories and jewellery. There are endless ways that you can use this skill to make something stunning for your home.

We love that our workshops attract such interesting people and it really has been our pleasure to spend a little more time with you.  Learning to create in the company of new friends has to be one of our favourite things!  We were also lucky enough to enjoy some tasty coffee and cake courtesy of The Milkman, which certainly made the afternoon a little sweeter.

Whether you are a dab hand at your craft or just a beginner, we would love for you to come and join in for our next workshop.  Maybe you can teach us your tips "n" tricks or we can all learn something new together.

Everything you need to participate in each class will be provided for you, so just bring yourself and a handful of fun ideas and get ready to see them come to life!

If you have had a great experience at one of our workshops already, tell us more. Please feel free to drop us at a line at  We would love to encourage others out there who could just be feeling shy to give it a try.

Remember, we design our workshops with you in mind. Treat yourself to a little extra time learning that hobby that gets you all heart-eyed. Why not book a place as a surprise for a friend?- it really could make their day!

We are finalising more dates for our calendar, so watch this space! There are still a few places available for our November event, so if Terrariums tickle your fancy, head over to the workshop event page for further details and to book.

As ever, we are re-fillin' flat whites, strolling in the leaves and using cosy blankets to fight back the chill.

We hope you are too.
